Using the network
mailbox

The network mailbox is your network pro-
vider's answering machine within the net-
work. You cannot use the network mailbox
unless you have

requested

it from your net-

work provider.

Configuring fast access for
the network mailbox

With fast access, you can dial the network
mailbox or the integrated answering
machine (Gigaset E495 only) directly.

Gigaset E490: Fast access is preset for the
network mailbox. You only need to enter the
number of the network mailbox.

Gigaset E495: The integrated answering
machine is preset for fast access. You can
configure the network mailbox instead. Ask
your network provider about this.
