Base station settings
The base station settings are carried out using a
registered Gigaset C45 handset.
Changing the system PIN
You have to enter the system PIN when register-
ing a handset to the base station.
You can change the base's 4-digit default sys-
tem PIN ("0000") to a 4-digit PIN known only to
yourself.

Restoring the base station to
factory settings
When the settings are restored all handsets are
de-registered. Each individual setting is
restored. Only the date and time are retained.

Resetting the base station using a key on

Remove the base station mains adapter
(page 5) from the power socket.

Press the registration/paging key
(page 2) and hold down.

Replug the mains unit into your power
socket.

Continue to press the registration/
paging key (page 2) until you hear
a confirmation tone.

Release the registration/paging key
(page 2). The base station has now been
reset.
