A.5 Setup Procedure for Wet-Flow Calibration 

FUS1010 IP65 NEMA 4X & IP66 NEMA 7

The flow calibration report issued with each wet-flow calibration, includes a flow calibration 

"Diagnostic Data Sheet." This data sheet lists the site name and other necessary information 

(such as sensor serial number and spacing information), for setting-up the flow meter. A wet-

flow calibration applies to a specific flow meter and set of sensors; identified by serial 

numbers on the diagnostic data sheet. 

 

 

Note 
In order for the flow calibration to be valid, the flow computer and sensors being used must 

have the same serial numbers as those listed for the site on the Calibration Diagnostic Data 

Sheet. 

 

Sensor Installation 

1.

 

Refer to the diagnostic data sheet to find the mounting mode (Direct or Reflect) used 

during the wet-flow calibration. Review the sensor installation guidelines in your 

Operating Instructions manual. 

2.

 

Refer to the diagnostic data sheet for the sensor spacing index utilized during the flow 

calibration. Using the mounting configuration employed during the flow calibration, install 

the sensors on the pipe at the above noted spacing positions in accordance with the 

instructions provided on the sensor installation drawings. 

3.

 

Attach the sensor cables noting that the cable marked UP (upstream) attaches to the 

sensor closest to the source of flow. 

 

 

Note 
Before proceeding further, ensure that the pipe is full of liquid. It is not important at this 

point that it be flowing. 

Flow meter Setup 

 

 

Note 
The following instructions require the use of the keypad and the menu. The installer should 

become familiar with their use before proceeding further. 

 

1.

 

Switch the flow meter on. Press the <MENU> key. 

2.

 

On multi-channel flow meters, use the arrow keys to select [2 Channel Flow] or [Dual 

Path Flow] depending on the mode utilized for the wet-flow calibration. 

3.

 

Use the arrow keys to select either [Clamp-on] or [Clamp-on Spool]. 

4.

 

Select [Full Site Setup] and use the <Right Arrow> to select [Channel Setup]; then select 

[Recall Site Setup]. 

5.

 

Use the <Down Arrow> to scroll to the site name indicated on the Calibration Diagnostic 

Data Sheet and then press <ENTER>.
