7.4 Regular Training Courses and Instructions for the Personnel
The employer (owner) is responsible for the qualification of his/her
personnel (operating personnel, shift foreman, specialists for electronic
systems, maintenance personnel etc.). The employer has to make sure that
the personnel to be trained have the necessary
language skills
to be able to
follow the training and to understand the documentation.
In particular, the maintenance personnel have to be familiar with the dangers
and rules of conduct when carrying out start-up, maintenance and repair
work. Therefore, we recommend
regular training courses
for the
maintenance personnel.
