Safety precautions
When in a hospital switch off your
phone. Mobile phones can also
interfere with the functioning of
medical devices such as hearing
aids or pacemakers. Keep at
least 20cm/9 inches between the
phone and pacemaker. When us-
ing the mobile phone hold it to the
ear which is furthest away from
the pacemaker. For more infor-
mation consult your doctor.
Always use the handsfree kit for
calls while driving (S. 78).
Mobile phones must be switched
off at all times in an aircraft.
To prevent accidental activation,
see (S. 56).
Switch off near petrol stations, fu-
el depots, chemical plants or
blasting operations. Mobile
phones can interfere with the op-
eration of technical installations.
The ringtone and the info tones
are reproduced through the loud-
speaker. Do not hold the phone to
your ear when it rings. You may
risk serious damage to your hear-
ing.
SIM card may be removed. Cau-
tion! Small parts could be swal-
lowed by children.
Please note:
The mains voltage(V) specified
on the power supply unit must not
be exceeded.
Only use original Siemens batter-
ies (100% mercury-free) and
charging devices. You can risk
damage to the product and your
health.
The phone or battery (100% mer-
cury-free) must not be opened
under any circumstances (except
to exchange battery or SIM
card). Any other changes to this
device are strictly prohibited, as
they will invalidate the guarantee.
Safely dispose of used batteries
and phones according to the le-
gal regulations.
Mobile phones can interfere with
the operation of nearby TVs,
radios, PCs.
Only use original Siemens acces-
sories to avoid possible damage
and to comply with the existing
regulations.
Improper use invalidates the warranty!
