Run on the Module with Autostart
•
Compile the application at the prompt as discussed in
Section 9.2
or in an SMTK integrated
IDE.
•
Transfer the .jar and .jad file from the development platform to the desired directory on the
module using the Module Exchange Suite or OTA provisioning. See
Chapter 7
.
9.4.1
Switch on Autostart
•
There is an AT command,
AT^SCFG
, for configuring the autostart functionality. Please refer
to
[1]
.
•
Restart the module.
9.4.2
Switch off Autostart
There are three methods for switching off the autostart feature:
•
the AT^SCFG command, or
•
the graphical “autoexec_off.exe“ tool (included in the Installation CD software under wtk/
bin), or
•
the command line “cmd_autoexec_off.exe“ tool (included in the Installation CD software
under wtk/bin).
To disable the automatic start of a user application in a module these steps must be carried out:
Using the graphical “autoexec_off.exe” tool:
1. Connect the module to the PC
2. Make sure, that the module is switched off
3. Start the “Autoexec_Off” program
4. Select the COM-Port
5. Press the “AutoExec Off” button
Using the command line tool “cmd_autoexec_off.exe”:
1. Connect the module to the PC
2. Make sure, that the module is switched off
3. Start the command line tool “cmd_autoexec_off” with option <com-port> (com1 up to
com99 for com port selection)
