Mounting
5
Follow the subsequent steps when mounting the MPP 1500D/E:
• Connect the operator panel front and TCU via the corresponding interfaces.
• Carefully observe that the safety of a system in which the MPP1500D/E is integrated is the
responsibility of the system installer (system integrator).
• Mount the MPP 1500D/E according to the instructions of the system installer (system
integrator).
• Observe all the relevant information regarding installation provided in this manual.
WARNING
Electric shock in the event of an individual fault when grounding is insufficient
If you install the panel in an environment with hazardous voltages with inadequate grounding,
then there is a risk of an electric shock in the event of an individual fault. This electric shock can
have the following consequences:
• Death
• Severe injuries
• Material damage
To avoid electric shock, adequately ground the conductive parts of the panel. When doing this,
carefully comply with national regulations. Use the protection/fusing values of the circuits at
dangerous voltages levels that come into play in possible individual fault scenarios. These
protection/fusing values serve as basis to dimension the protective conductor connection.
WARNING
Parasitic voltage
If you install the device with inadequate insulation in an environment with higher/hazardous
voltages, you risk having parasitic voltages. These parasitic voltages can have the following
consequences:
• Death
• Severe injuries
• Material damage
When insulating cables/conductors, orient yourself to the highest voltage involved so that you
prevent the occurrence of parasitic voltages.
