GENERAL SAFETY RULES
WARNING
Read and understand all instructions. Failure to follow these can result in electric shock, fire,
and / or serious personal injury.
WORK AREA
Keep your work area clean and well lit. Messy tables and dark areas can cause accidents.
Do not use the machine in explosive atmospheres, in the presence of flammable liquids, gases
or dust. The power tool generates sparks and these can cause fires.
Keep observers, children and visitors away from the machine while you are operating it. Dis-
tractions can cause you to lose control.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Avoid body contact with grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, and refrigerators. There is
an increased risk of electric shock if your body is grounded.
Do not expose the machine to rain or wet conditions. Water entering the machine will increase
the risk of electric shock.
Do not abuse the cable. Never use the cord to carry the tool or charger or pull it out of the
outlet. Keep the cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges, or moving parts. Replace damaged
cables immediately. Damaged cables increase the risk of electric shock.
When using the machine outdoors, use an outdoor extension cord marked “W-A” or “W”. This is
intended for outdoor work and reduces the risk of electric shock.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its representative.
Tool tabs must match the outlet, do not modify them in any way.
Do not use adapters for grounded power tools. The unmodified tokens
and properly fitted outlets reduce the risk of electric shock.
