IP technology
SICK uses standard IP technology in its products. The focus lies on availability of products
and services. SICK always assumes the customer is responsible for the integrity and confi

dentiality of data and rights involved in connection with using the aforementioned products.
In all cases, the customer is responsible for the implementation of safety measures suit

able for the respective situation, e.g., network separation, firewalls, virus protection and
patch management.

Do not remove or cover warning stickers. Replace damaged or missing stickers.

Mandatory signs
DANGER
Indicates a dangerous situation which, if not avoided, will result in death or severe
personal injury.
WARNING
Indicates a dangerous situation which, if not avoided, could result in death or severe
personal injury.
CAUTION
Indicates a dangerous situation which, if not avoided, could result in less severe or
minor or personal injury.
NOTE
Indicates a harmful situation which, if not avoided, could lead to property damage.
