Manual calibration
Function
Calibration can be started manually with the “Calibration” menu item, and the automatic
calibration procedure can be observed. The calculated drift values (“deviations”) can be
seen at the end of the calibration operation and you can decide whether these calibration
results should be accepted. If you refuse the results, the previous calibration remains
effective.
Procedure
1 Check whether the conditions for calibration are met:
– The EuroFID is ready for operation.
– The calibration gas is supplied.
– The setpoint value is set correctly (
→ 12.4.2 ).
2 Open the menu: Main menu

Calibration.
To start calibration:
3 Press .

The “Calibration” status output is activated.
➝
The calibration operation runs automatically.
If the “Calibration block” control input is ( → P. 65, §6.3.6 ), no calibration
operations can be performed.
