COMPLIANCE WITH THE DATA PROTECTION

REGULATIONS

This section is aimed at facilitating the user to comply with the

regulation in force related to the treatment of personal data that

are regulated and covered by REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE

EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016

on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing

of personal data and on the free movement of such data.

A brief description of the basic points of this regulation is provided

and the issues to be considered for fulfilling the requirements of

such regulation are detailed.

IMPORTANT WARNING

According to the regulation in force, the user is the only party

responsible for saving and processing the data of his patients

according to the Law.

The observance of the recommendations included in this section

does not guarantee, in any case, the complete adequacy of the

user’s activity to the regulation on data protection.

Configuration of the DATOSPIR MICRO Protection

The DATOSPIR MICRO spirometer has an equipment protection

option that uses a password or pin.

This option is user-configurable and seeks to prevent access by

unauthorised people to the equipment and, more specifically, to

the private data it contains.

To comply with current legislation, users must enable this

option and configure their pins. They will be held responsible for

providing this pin to the authorised people.

Thus, when the spirometer is started, a pin will be requested
