3 Getting Started
To access Microsoft Media Center you will need to have one of the following in-
stalled Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium, Ultimate edition or Microsoft Win-
dows XP Media Center Edition. The following guide will be based on the Microsoft
Windows Vista Ultimate Edition.


Start Microsoft Windows Vista Media Center
Start your Windows Media Center with either one of the follow options.
A. Click Start, Windows Media Center
or Start, All Programs, Windows Media Center.
This guide provides information to the usage of Microsoft Media Center. If you
have not completed the installation of your barebone, please refer to the quick
installation guide or user manual provided.
B. Press the start button on your remote control.
C. Press the start button on your multimedia keyboard.
