INSTRUCTIONS FOR PREPARING AN IDEAL 18 TO GET
UNDERWAY AND RETURNING TO THE DOCK.
AS YOU APPROACH THE BOAT YOU ARE GOING TO SAIL,
TAKE NOTE OF WHERE THE BOAT IS LOCATED ON THE
DOCK AND WHERE THE LINES AND FENDERS ARE LOCATED.
IT IS VERY VERY IMPORTANT THAT THE BOATS END UP IN
THE SAME ORIENTATION, IE BOW IN OUR OUT. WHEN YOU
GET UNDERWAY, TAKE THE FENDERS WITH YOU AND LEAVE
THE DOCK LINES ATTACHED TO THE DOCK.

MAKE SURE FENDERS AND LINES ARE SECURED, ONE
FENDER LOOPED AROUND THE MAST AND FENDER
PUSHED THROUGH EYE IN LINE. OTHER FENDER
THROUGH BLOCK AND CAM CLEAT ON SIDE OF BOAT
WITH A KNOT TIED INBOARD TO PREVENT IT FROM
GETTING LOST.
