Due to the H8922 4G Router factory default parameters,
IP address: 192.168.8.1
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Therefore, in the window of “ Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties ” , the Default Gateway and Subnet Mask are
configured as H8922 4G Router factory defaults.RF that causes unsuccessful dial-up and Internet access due to
poor signals.

DHCP automatically obtains IP
H8922 4G Router has a built-in DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) server, which automatically assigns
an IP (Internet Protocol) address to the terminal (or PC) connected to it according to preset parameters.
The H8922 4G Router's built-in DHCP service is turned on at the factory. The DHCP service is enabled before the
function is configured.
Step 1 Click “ Start > Control ” Panel. In the window that opens, double-click “ Network Connections ” ,
as shown in Figure 4-8.

Step 2 Right-click “ Local Area Connection 2 ” and click “ Properties ” in the pop-up menu to open the
window of ” Local Area Connection 2 ” , as shown in Figure 4-9.
