4.7.9 Power setting
Background
It is mainly used in controlling the booting up and shutting down modes of device,
including:
(1) Ignition mode
The device boots up when the vehicle key is turned off, and restarts when the vehicle is
turned on.
(2) Timing mode
Up to 4x7 time slots can be saved i n the device. The device boots up within the time slots
and shuts down beyond the time slots.
H3526 MDVR can boot up and shut down with hard disk lock. Please turn the key to “LOCK”
position to boot up the device when there is no other booting up and s hutting down
modes. Turn the key to “UNLOCK” position to shut down working device (RUN light is on),
and then extract the hard disk from device.
The device boots up in set booting up and shutting down modes (if any), including timing
booting up and shutting down mode and ignition mode.
Operation steps
Step 1 Click “System Mgmt>Power Setting” to access “Power Setting” interface. Ignition mode is
the default mode, and the shutting down delay time is 1 min., as shown in Fig. 4-46.

Step 2 Check to configure the booting time slots (at most 4) in timing booting up and shutting
down mode. The device works in the time slot and shuts down beyond the time slot, as
shown in Fig. 4-47.
