Generally the following recommendations apply:
P100
- used for fast cooking or reheating
e.g. for casseroles, hot beverages, vegeta-
bles etc.
P80
- used for longer cooking of dense
foods such as roast joints, meat loaf and
plated meals, also for sensitive dishes such
as sponge cakes. At this reduced setting,
the food will cook evenly without over
cooking at the sides.
P50
- for dense foods which require a long
cooking time when cooked conventionally,
e.g. beef casserole, it is advisable to use this
power setting to ensure the meat will be
tender.
P30
- defrost setting to defrost, select this
power setting,to ensure that the dish de-
frosts evenly. This setting is also ideal for
simmering rice, pasta, dumplings and cook-
ing egg custard.
P10
- for gentle defrosting, e.g. cream ga-
teaux or pastry.
MICROWAVE POWER LEVELS
1.
Press
MICROWAVE
button once. The display will show P100. (The power level can be
changed by pressing the MICROWAVE button in the following sequence: P100->P80-
>P50->P30->P10->P100.)

Use the numeric buttons to input the cooking time. The maximum cooking time is 99
minutes and 99 seconds.

Press
START/+30SEC
button to start cooking.
4.
When the process is over, the oven will emit a sound and return to standby status. If the
clock has not been set, the display will show 0:00. Otherwise the current time will be dis-
played.
Example:
to cook the food with 50% microwave power for 15 minutes.
a. Press
MICROWAVE
button three times. The display will show P50.
b. Press 1, 5, 0, 0 in order.
c. Press
START/+30SEC
button to start cooking.
