NICAM Stereo Sound
The unit is fitted with a NICAM stereo decoder. NICAM refers to the digital stereo system broadcast by
television stations. NICAM provides a new dimension to unit by enhancing the sound quality to the point
where it compares with hi-fi audio systems.
1. Select NICAM.
Press
or to select AUTO or OFF.
2. Press MENU to return to the normal TV screen.
In case of 2 channel-sound reception, you can select the desired sound with .
Each time you press the (Audio Select), the both
sound channels alternate with each other.
Bass, Treble and Balance
1. Select BASS.
Then press
or to adjust the BASS.
If you wish to adjust the Treble or Balance, press or to select desired option at step 1.
2. Press MENU to return to the normal TV screen.
Notes:
• The audio settings can only be adjusted when they are displayed on screen.
• When the audio adjustments are shown on the screen, pressing NORMAL will return all the settings
to their factory preadjusted levels.
