Air filter
Clean weekly.
Remove the air filter
from the side of the
unit.
Remove dust using a
vacuum cleaner.
• Remove dust on the air filter from
the side with the lattice facing up
(front side) as shown in the illus-
tration.
• The air filter can’t be removed from
the lattice.
CAUTION
Set the air filter in the original state.
• Humidification volume will decrease as soiling accu-
mulates. In addition, the air filter should be cleaned
frequently as the humidity sensor may not be able to
perform properly.
NOTE
Tank / Tank cap
Clean daily.
Pour small amount of water into the
tank, securely tighten the tank cap
and shake. When completed, empty
the water from the tank.
When using detergent, use diluted
neutral detergent. (Rinse thor-
oughly so that there is no remain-
ing detergent within the tank.)
Unit
Clean once about every month.
Wipe with soft cloth.
For stubborn dirt, clean with a cloth
damped with neutral detergent and
wipe off using a well-wrung cloth
making sure there is no remaining
detergent.
CAUTION
• To prevent deformation and dis-
coloration, do not wipe with gaso-
line, paint thinner, benzene or al-
kaline detergent. When using a
chemical fiber cloth, make sure to
follow the accompanied instruc-
tions.
Storage
• After cleaning, wipe off any excess moisture on each part including the tray and humidification filter set and
allow to dry sufficiently in the shade.
• Be sure the humidification filter is sufficiently dried. Storing the filter with moisture remaining will cause
molding and foul odors.
• Place the unit in the box of purchase along with the instruction manual or place the unit into a plastic bag
and store in a location with low humidity.
