Power On/Off Sound
The phone can be set up to emit a sound when it is
switched on or off. You can define the volume, duration
and the melody to be used for this task.
1.
Perform steps 1 to 4 in “Customising Profiles” on
page 129.
2.
Press or to highlight “Power On Sound” or
“Power Off Sound”, then press to select.
3. Press or to highlight “On” or “Off”, then
press to select.
If you select “Off”, the screen returns to step 1.

Press or to highlight “Volume”, then press
to select.
5. Press to increase the volume or press to
decrease the volume and then press .
6. Press or to highlight “Sound”, then press
to select.
7.
Press or to highlight “Preset Melodies” or
“Sound Gallery”, then press to select.
8. Select the ringtone.
For details on selecting a ringtone, see “Assigning
Melody” on page 130.

Press or to highlight “Duration”, then press
to select.
10.
Enter the desired duration of the ringtone in 2 digits
(01 to 10 seconds) using the digit keys, then press
.
Message Alert
When receiving messages, special ringtones can be set.
1. Perform steps 1 to 4 in “Customising Profiles” on
page 129.

Press or to highlight “Message Alert”, then
press to select.
3.
Press or to highlight “MMS”, “SMS” or
“WAP”, then press to select.

Press or to highlight “Volume”, then press
to select.
5.
Press to increase the volume or press to
decrease the volume and then press .

Press or to highlight “Sound”, then press
to select.
7.
Press or to highlight “Preset Melodies” or
“Sound Gallery”, then press to select.
