Messages in the display of the Sharp MFP
CAN’T PRINT DATA/
CHECK MAN FEEDER/
REMOVE PAPER
You have received a fax, however, a sheet of
media is loaded in the manual paper feeder.
Press the
PRINTER key to remove the media
from the manual feeder and the fax will print out
automatically. (To print the fax on the media in
the manual paper feeder, press the
FUNCTION key, 8 and START .)
CAN’T PRINT DATA/
COLOR CARTRIDGE!/
CHANGE TO BLACK
You have received a fax, however, a color print
cartridge is installed. We recommend that you
change to a black print cartridge. (To print the
fax one page at a time with the color cartridge,
press the
FUNCTION key, 8, and START .)
CAN’T PRINT DATA/
(other message)
A fax has been received to the memory of the
Sharp MFP because printing is not possible or
not recommended (the additional message that
appears will indicate the problem). The fax will
print out automatically when the problem is
resolved. For more information, see
Substitute
Reception to Memory
in Chapter 3.
CHECK MAN FEEDER/
USE AUTO FOR RX
Media has been loaded in the manual sheet
feeder. To allow normal reception of faxes,
promptly use the media in the sheet feeder or
press the
PRINTER key to eject the media.
(Normal printing from the automatic paper tray
is not possible while media is loaded in the
manual sheet feeder.)
COLOR CARTRIDGE!/
USE BLACK FOR RX
This message appears when a color print
cartridge is installed. To allow reception of
faxes, we recommend that you keep a black
cartridge installed normally and change to a
color cartridge only when you need to print a
color job. (Note: If this message appears and a
black cartridge is installed, correct the cartridge
selection by pressing the
CARTRIDGE key
and then
1 (OLD BLACK) or 3 (NEW BLACK).)
