8. Adjustment of white balance
Start up the set and adjust the white balance.
1. Place the set under the following conditions.
AV Mode: [STANDARD] Color Temp.: [Middle]
Monochrome: [ON] Black: [OFF]
Feed the component 15k (60Hz) adjustment signal via INPUT1 to display the adjustment screen (High: 80%,
Low: 30%).
2. Execute the automatic adjustment.
1) In order for the 80% pattern to become the reference value, adjust the "MONITOR GAMMA HI R",
"MONITOR GAMMA HI G" and "MONITOR GAMMA HI B" settings.
2) In order for the 30% pattern to become the reference value, adjust the "MONITOR GAMMA LO R",
"MONITOR GAMMA LO G" and "MONITOR GAMMA LO B" settings.
