HOW TO USE THE FAX FUNCTION

TWO-SIDED ORIGINAL TRANSMISSION FUNCTION

The RSPF can be used to automatically fax a two-sided original. If desired, the back of the original can be rotated
180° before transmission.

Follow these steps to fax a two-sided original:

Place the original(s) in the RSPF.
(p.51)

Press the [2-SIDED TX] key until the
desired setting appears.

If you wish to rotate the
back of the original 180°,
select "ON (ROTATE)".

The selections are as
follows:
OFF
ON (ROTATE)
ON (NON-ROTATE)

Press the [ENTER] key.

Press the [CLEAR ALL] key (

Press the [CLEAR ALL]
key (

) to exit.

• The original must be placed in the RSPF when using the two-sided original transmission function. The

document glass cannot be used.

• The two-sided original transmission function cannot be used in direct transmission mode.
• The two-sided original transmission function cannot be selected when direct transmission mode is selected.

Likewise, direct transmission mode cannot be selected when the two-sided original transmission function is
selected.
