● If the machine starts to vibrate anormally; find the cause of the vibration immediately and have it
fixed;
● When the machine is not is use;
● Always keep hands and feet away from the cutting device, specially when starting the trimmer.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
● When cutting, always hold the machine firmly with both hands.
● Note: The battery is fitted with a protection system which prevents it from running completely flat.
The power tool will automatically switch off when the accumulator is flat. If this happens, it must
promptly be recharged.
● Immediately stop the trimmer if the blades jam.
VERTICAL TRIMMING (Fig.7)

It is recommended to trim the two vertical sides of the hedge before trimming the top.
● Proceed to cut by using curved movements from the bottom towards the top, keeping the blade as
far from the body as possible.
HORIZONTAL TRIMMING (Fig.8 and 9)
● The best results will be obtained with the blade slightly inclined (5°-10°) in the direction you are
cutting, proceed with a curved movement, slowly and without interruptions, specially in the case of
very thick hedges.
LUBRICATING THE BLADES (Fig 10)
● If the trimming device overheats whilst working, it is necessary to lubricate the internal surfaces of
the blades.

Warning" This operation must only be performed when the blades have stopped, the trimmer is
switched off and the battery removed.
● When you have finished your work.
● Switch off the motor as indicated.
●
Allow the motor to cool before storing in any enclosure.
● To reduce fire hazards, clean the machine thoroughly to get rid of any remains of grass,leaves or
excess grease, never leave containers with the cut debris inside the storage area.
● To increase the efficiency and working life of the blades, clean and lubricate then carefully after each
work session.
●
Use a soft cloth to clean the blades, along with a brush to remove more difficult dirt and debris.
● Lubricate the blades with suitable oil.
MAINTENANCE

For your safety and that of others.

After each use, remove the accumulator from uts cimpartment and check for damage.
● Correct maintenance is essential to maintain the original efficiency and safety of the machine over
time.
●
Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be sure the equipent is in safe working condition.
● Never use the machine with worn or damaged parts. Damaged parts are to be replaced and never
repaired.
● Only use original spare parts. Parts that are not of the same quality can seriously damage thr
equipment and compromise safety.
● During maintenance, remove the battery from the tool.
● To avoid overheating and damage to the motor, always keep the cooling air vents clean and free of
sawdust and debris.
SHARPENING OF THE BLADE
● Periodically check that the blades are not bent or damaged and thath the fixed comb on the blade is
intact.
●
Adjustment of the distance between blades is not necessary, as this is predetermined by the
manufacturer.
● Lif the blades are used correctly, following all the instructions provided, they will not require any
maintenance wotk and will not need sharpening.
