Permissible duty cycle
The inverter stops if overheating caused by thermal regulation occurs during the welding cycle. The
fan is still working to cool the temperature of the machine, then try turning it on again after 2-3
minutes.
The inductive supply is equipped with a voltage compensation function. Rated output voltage ranges
b/- 15%, it may still work normally.
However, when using a long cable, you need to select a larger cross section of the cable to prevent
the voltage drop. If the cable is too long, it can greatly affect the performance of the arc ignition and
the other power system. Therefore, it is recommended to use the appropriate cable length and cross
section. If you are unsure contact your reseller or Sharks service department immediately.
Important steps:
1. Ensure that the fan is not blocked or covered to prevent damage to the cooling system and that the
machine can function properly.
2. Select a cable for min. Cross-section 4 mm².
3. Attach the electrode holder and earthing clip correctly as shown below.
4. Watch for the correct polarity, DC welder has 2 interconnected ways: positive and negative
connection connections. Correct connection: The bracket is connected with "-" polarity, while the
welded piece is only connected to "+". If the connection is inappropriate, it will cause an unstable arc,
strong splash or sticking. If these problems occur, please change the polarity of the mounting plug
5. Connect the power line to the distribution box according to the input voltage class of the welder, do
not connect the voltage if it does not respond. The operator is responsible for the correct connection,
therefore the installation of a person is strictly required!
WARNING AND PREVENTION
Working environment
1) Welding should be carried out in a relatively dry environment, with an air humidity of less than 90%.
2) Suitable for ambient temperatures from -10
℃
to 40
℃
.
3) Avoid welding under strong sunlight, in rainy weather and avoid contact of water to / on the welder.
4) Avoid welding operation in a dusty and corrosive environment.
5) Avoid welding in a highly windy environment.
Safety notices
This welder is equipped with a surge arrester. The machine automatically stops the work process if the
voltage, output current or humidity is above the standard. Keep in mind, however, that frequent non-
standard use (overvoltage) significantly influences machine life. So please be alert, for example the
following:
1) Ensure good air flow.
The welding process generates a large flow and the fan meets the requirements for proper cooling of
the machine. However, the operator must ensure that the fan is working well and is located in the min.
30 cm from the nearest objects.
2) Do not overload the inverter
Keep the welding current smaller than the maximum overload current. This significantly prolongs the
life of the machine.
3) Ground the inverter properly
Observe the requirements of this inverter (labels). Prior to operation, select a suitable wire for earthing
(more than 6 mm²).
4) The inverter stops if overheating caused by thermal regulation occurs during the welding cycle. The
indicator on the front panel lights up. At this time, it is not necessary to turn off the inverter, the indoor
fan starts cooling the machine. Start welding after the indicator goes out.
