INSTALLATION
SANIPACK
®
is designed to fit behind a wall or inside a stud
wall and should be installed by a qualified person.
WARNING:
The unit must be connected to a bowl with a
horizontal outlet or wall hung toilet system.
The macerator has fastenings preventing it from moving.

WARNING:
Provide an access panel of the following
dimensions to enable the unit to be removed for possible
service:
L = 20 inches, H = 20 inches
WARNING:
A screwdriver should be required to remove
the access panel.
Please note:
All SANIFLO products are equipped with a thermal cut out
protection.
IIn the event of a continuous flow of water into the unit, over
a long period of time, the motor will cut out and will overflow.
The motor will reset itself after a cool down period of about
40 minutes. Examples of a continuous water flow could be a
leaking tap.

CONNECTION TO A TOILET
The flexible sleeve is designed to fit onto the 4 inch toilet
spigot or drain pipe from a wall hung toilet system.
Grease the inside of the rubber connector with soapy water.
Align the connector and push the pipe into the connector.
WARNING:
If the height of the toilet can be adjusted allow
the discharge pipe to have a 2% slope toward the
macerator.
CONNECTION TO THE SIDE-INLETS
To make the connection to the side inlets, use connector
.
• Secure it with a gear clamp
.
• Cap off unused inlet(s) with the blanking plug
.
WARNING:
When installing a shower also, please ensure that the
bottom of the shower tray is at least 5

inches above
floor level.
CONNECTION OF A HAND BASIN
Connect the hand basin drain pipe to the 1

connector and fasten gear clamps.
CONNECTION OF THE DISCHARGE PIPE
• If required, cut off the end of the elbow
in order to
accommodate the appropriate discharge pipe.
• Point the non-return flap so that it opens in the direction of
flow of the discharge pipe (see drawing 7e 5).
• Fasten base of discharge elbow with gear clamp
and
discharge end with gear clamp
.
• A full port shut off valve is recommended at the base of
the discharge pipe for service.
WARNING:
Use two 45 degrees elbows back to back in
order to make 90 degree turns.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
The
SANIPACK
®
requires a 110 volt, 60HZ supply.
A GFCI receptacle or circuit is required.
Wire colors are as follows:
Brown = hot, Blue = neutral, Green/Yellow = Ground

Mark shown with the letters “C” and “US”. When they are
used with the CSA mark, the letters “C” and “US” mean that
the product has been assessed by CSA (CAN) and ANSI/UL
standards, which is valid for use in Canada and the U.S.
This also applies to products that bear the NTRL mention,
which refers to National Recognized Testing Laboratory. This
mark is issued by the U. S. Occupational Health and Safety
Administration to laboratories that are authorized to grand
authorization in accordance with American Standards.
