This quality product is manufactured and tested ac-
cording to current technical standards and delivered
in a flawless technical safety condition. In order to
maintain this condition and ensure safe operation, the
user must observe the information and warning notes
of this manual.
If it is to assume that safe operation is no longer
possible, the lamp must be taken out of service.
It is to assume that a safe operation is not
possible
,
• if the illuminant shows of visible damage
• if the illuminant is no longer working properly
• after prolonged storage under inconvenient
conditions
• after extreme transport damage
In these cases, the luminaire must be given for repair.
The luminaire may only be repaired by the produ-
cer, the customer service, or a trained electrician. A
trained electrician owns skills and experience due
to professional training. The person has knowledge
of relevant norms, is able to recognize possible
dangers. Warranty repair can only be carried out by
the producer.
SETO CRAFTSMAN - luminaires are applicable as in-
door lightings or, depending on model and product,
also as outdoor lightings, for industry craftsmanship,
shops, tents, rescue forces, energy suppliers, railway
and transport services etc. SETOLITE luminaires are
designed to provide optimal illumination directly at
the work place.
Because it is a battery-powered luminaire, it must be
charged for operation. Charging of the
SETO CRAFTSMAN ST-200 RC takes place via the
delivered power supply (charger).
The charger must be connected to a correctly ins-
talled protective contact socket. Please note that the
system should meet the relevant VDE guidelines. If
you have any questions concerning this, please refer
to your energy supplier or your trained electrician.
Of course, we are at your disposal for further infor-
mation.
Safety information
• Do not charge the battery at extremely high or
low temperatures. The recommended ambient
temperature is between 10°-30°C.
• When using under low temperatures, there may
occur battery power losses.
• When stored for too long, the battery can be
damaged. Never store the luminaire in a deep
discharged condition.
• When stored for several months, a charging level
of approx. 60% is recommended.
• When transported (especially air cargo),
current national / international transport
regulations must be considered (only applies
to luminaires with Li-Ion battery).
• Protect the luminaire from severe shock, high
weight load and other harmful influences that
may lead to damaging of the battery.

INFORMATION!
The battery is partly charged when delivered.
Before using, the battery must be charged with the
charger included in the delivery, so that the entire
lighting duration is available.

Before using the luminaire, the protective
foil on the front pane must be removed.
Safety information
(luminaires with battery)
• Do not operate the luminaire under high am-
bient temperatures (above 50°C). Avoid direct
solar radiation. This may lead to damaging of
the batteries and fire!
•
In the case of a fire, never extinguish with
water. Quench the fire, e.g. with sand.
• The battery is only to be used with the deli-
vered charger.
There is the possibility of overheating with
dangers of fire or explosion, as well as danger
of leaking of hazardous liquids.
ATTENTION!
The light source of this lamp may only be used by
Manufacturer or one commissioned by him
Service technician or one comparable
qualified person to be replaced.
