INFORMATION!
Before using the luminaire, protective foils and
transport protections should be removed.
For luminaires with integrated BATTERY
INFORMATION!
When delivered, the battery is partly charged.
Charging takes place after commissioning of the
luminaire. The full lighting duration is only available
after successful charging. Here, follow the specified
charging time in the technical data.
In order to be able to use the ALDEBARAN
®
1000
series for miscellaneous purposes (suspended lumi-
naire, mast luminaire), several optional accessories are
available for you:
a. Strap systems (suspended lamp)
b. Holding systems (suspended/ mast lamp)
Therefore, ask specifically for our accessories for
the ALDEBARAN
®
1000 series.
Version dimmable:
For the dimming, a rotary potentiometer with
switching feature is integrated in the cap. By turning
it clockwise, the luminaire can be turned on and
dimmed to the maximum brightness. Turning on is
signalised by a “click”. By turning it counter-clockwise,
the brightness can be reduced and the light can be
turned off.
Version toggle switch:
The toggle switch integrated in the cap has the func-
tion of turning the luminaire on/off. The symbol plate
ON/OFF shows each switching state.
ATTENTION!
Pay absolute attention to the information on the
socket (yellow label) which is located at the housing
side right next to the socket.
WARNING! Electric current!
Plug connectors with IP67 have a bayonet system.
For achieving this protection degree, twist the
bayonet rings until they are closed. Generally, only
a protection degree of IP44 is achieved when the
bayonet rings are not tightened (protection against
splash water and solid bodies from 1mm).
INFORMATION!
The additional socket can differ in type and version
from the version presented here. Country-specific
Schuko plug connectors, as well as plug connectors
according to IEC 60309 are possible.
Handling
By connecting the supply line to the supply network,
the luminaire is in operating state. For connecting
further electric devices, the Schuko socket mounted
into the cap is to be used.
WARNING! Tripping hazard!
Lay the cables and supply lines in a way that no
tripping hazards occur and they are safe from
mechanical damages, like tearing or driving over.
Fix the cables, if necessary, with adhesive tape or
cable ties.
