This quality product is manufactured and tested ac-
cording to current technical standards and delivered
in a flawless technical safety condition. In order to
maintain this condition and ensure safe operation, the
user must observe the information and warning notes
of this manual.
If it is to assume that safe operation is no longer
possible, the lamp must be taken out of service.
It is to assume that a safe operation is
not possible
•
if the illuminant shows of visible damage
•
if the illuminant is no longer working
properly
•
after prolonged storage under inconvenient
conditions
•
after extreme transport damage
In these cases, the luminaire must be given for repair.
The luminaire may only be repaired by the produ-
cer, the customer service, or a trained electrician. A
trained electrician owns skills and experience due
to professional training. The person has knowledge
of relevant norms, is able to recognize possible
dangers. Warranty repair can only be carried out by
the producer.
Safety information (luminaires with
batteries)
•
Do not operate the luminaire at high
temperatures (50°C).
•
Avoid direct solar radiation.
This may lead to damages of the
battery!
•
The battery must only be charged with
an appropriate charger. Otherwise, the-
re is a risk of overheating, as well as the
hazard of leaking hazardous fluids.
•
Protect the luminaire from violent shocks
and other harmful effects which lead to the
damaging of the battery.
•
Do not charge the battery in extremely
high or low temperatures. The recom-
mended ambient temperature is between
10°-30°C.
•
When used in low temperatures, losses in
the battery power can occur.
•
When stored too long, the battery can
be damaged. Never store the luminaire
for a longer time in a deep discharged
condition.

shops, tents, rescue forces, energy suppliers, railway
and transport services etc. ALDEBARAN
®
luminaires
are designed to provide optimal illumination directly
at the work place.
In general, the luminaire is delivered ready for con-
nection with supply line and plug.
Supply line with moulded and / or mounted plug.
It is only to be connected to AC current – with voltage
according to the type plate – to a properly installed
Schuko socket (see picture).
Please note that the system should meets the relevant
VDE guidelines. If you have any questions concerning
this, please refer to your energy supplier or your
trained electrician.
Of course, we are at your disposal for further infor-
mation.
ATTENTION!
When using versions of the luminaire with other
plug connectors (not Schuko
®
), the voltage accor-
ding to the type plate has to be noticed.
