B. Version EM
(Luminaire with emergency light feature)
How it works:
During mains operation, an integrated battery is
charged and monitored during lighting operation. In
the event of a power failure, the luminaire switches
to battery operati5on. In the battery operation the
luminaire is available with reduced luminous flux.
When the mains is back on, the luminaire is switched
back to mains operation. Now you may return to the
full luminous flux available. The rechargeable battery
is charged automatically after the mains have been
restored.
For optical control of the charging, the LED display
integrated in the cap is available (see picture).
Please refer to the technical data for charging and
lighting time.
The LED integrated in the lid is available for visual
inspection of the charge. (see image)
C. Version EM MOT
(Luminaire with emergency light function and
motion detector)
Complementary to the emergency light feature
described in B., the luminaire is equipped with a
motion sensor.
How it works:
In the embodiment mentioned, the luminous ope-
ration is dependent on an integrated sensor. This
responds to presence / movement within the detec-
tion range. Thus, in detection the light is switched on
(100%) (present mode).
This operating mode is retained as long as movement
takes place within the sensor area.
If the detection range is left, the light‘s luminous flux
is reduced and thus automatically brought to a low
energy level to optimize energy savings for unused
areas (standby mode).
This operating mode is retained as long as a further
presence / movement is detected.
The following operating states are displayed (mains operation):

INFORMATION!
Use this feature to keep the battery on the middle
charge level, e.g. for shorten the charging time
after the mains come back on. Or when you intend
to store the luminaire for a longer period of time.
This spares the battery and extends the life time.
INFORMATION!
The detection is limited in its range to a maximum
of 5m around the sensor. This must be taken into
account when selecting the installation location.
EM OFF
Control button TEST:
By pressing the button, the emergency lighting func-
tion can be activated at short notice. This is purely a
test function, it checks the functioning of the equip-
ment. As soon as the button is no longer pressed, the
previous operating state is automatically restored.
Control button EM OFF:
By pressing the button, the emergency light can be
interrupted during battery operation.
It is not possible to restart the emergency light
by hand.
An automatic changeover to battery operation is only
carried out after the system returns and fails again.
A. Version DIM:
Luminaire in dimmable version:
For the dimming, a rotary potentiometer with
switching function is integrated in the cover. Turning
clockwise turns the lamp on and dims to full luminous
intensity. Switching on is indicated by a „click“. By
turning counterclockwise, it is possible to reduce the
luminous intensity to switch off the luminaire.
