Input LEDs (
Fig. 1
):
You can choose between different operating modes, i.e. analog
control 0-10V, analog control 1-10V, 1-button mode or 2-button
mode (see 4. Programming). The input LEDs indicate which
operating mode has been selected.
In case of
normal operation
, the input LEDs can have the
following meaning:
LED’s
Meaning
Upper LED lights
continuously
Current operating mode: 0 -10 V
Middle LED lights
continuously
Current operating mode: 1 -10 V
Lower LED lights
continuously
Current operating mode:
1-button mode
None of the 3 LEDs
lights.
Current operating mode:
2-button mode
Troubleshooting
Possible causes if the error indication LED and the load LED blink:
- the lamp is defective
- the load is not connected
Possible causes of dimmer malfunction, no LED indication:
- no power on the mains
- there is no control signal
- thermal protection is activated
- combination of the above causes.
- The dimmer is provided with a thermal protection. If the
temperature rises too high, the light is automatically dimmed
to ±40%. If the temperature continues to rise, the dimmer is
switched off. If this happens:
- check whether the load is not too high. Take into account the
reactive power of ferromagnetic transformers.
- check the temperature in the distribution board (max. 35°C). If
the temperature is too high, provide additional ventilation.
- If several modules are installed next to each other, provide
min. 1 module distance via adapted blank plates.
The dimmer is automatically switched on again as soon as the
temperature has dropped suffi ciently.
- The error indication LED continuously blinks or lights. This
indicates:
- overload
- overvoltage or overcurrent
- short circuit
- the load is not dimmable, neither in phase control, nor in
reverse phase control.
Operation & maintenance
No maintenance.

Wiring of analog control:
Control circuit and power circuit of the dimmer are galvanically
isolated.
The control inputs of the dimmer comply with the
requirements for extra low safety voltage (SELV). If the control
signals originate from appliances that also meet the SELV
requirements, no specifi c requirements in terms of wire
diameter or insulation of the control wires apply. You do have to
keep the control wires apart from the 230V~ wires (min. 10mm).
In this is not the cases, the SELV guarantees do not apply.
