Serene Bathroom Fan Heater
Installation
This appliance MUST be installed in accordance with relevant wiring
rules and regulations which cover installation of appliances and
accessories in damp situations such as bathrooms, showers, laundries
and other areas with fixed water containers (in Australia and New
Zealand - AS/NZS 3000:2007 Wiring Rules).
To attach the heater to the wall:
1.
Remove the wall mounting base from the heater by using a
screwdriver (with a large flat blade) to release both side clips from
inside the base.
2.
Secure the mounting base to the wall using the four fixing screw
holes provided. The base supplied with the heater must be used
when attaching the heater to the wall. See diagram above for
installation distances.
3.
Locate the heater onto the mounting base and snap into position.
4.
Connect the flexible cord to the mains power supply. A suitable
disconnection device (acting in all active supplies) is required to
be incorporated in the fixed supply wiring.
Distances
The heater must be mounted a
minimum distance of:
•
1800mm from floor level
•
200mmm below the ceiling
•
250mm from adjacent walls
•
500mm between the heater and
any objects heated below it.
IMPORTANT:
The heater must
NOT
be located
immediately below a socket outlet
or within reach of a bath or shower.
