Safety Cut-out
Your Serene S207T Wall & Bathroom Fan Heater is fitted with an thermal cut-out and a
fusible link.
Either of these devices will automatically switch off the element, should the unit reach an
abnormal temperature.
This is very unlikely to happen with the introduction of our ‘
Airslip
’ technology that
largely prevents dust and bathroom lint build- up in the heater other than in very
abnormal conditions.
However, should this occur:
Switch Off / Disconnect the heaters power supply at source .
Check for blockage of the air inlet and outlet.
If the heater still fails to operate, contact the installer or place of purchase.
Operation
Timer function:
The model S207T is fitted with a (optional) clever 30 minute resettable timer that turns
OFF the heater automatically if it is accidentally left running and using costly power.
To instantly restart at any time just pull the operation cord or turn the heater on at the
wall switch.
*NOTE - AU and NZ only:
The timer can be overridden at the time of installation so that
the timer no longer operates.
Air is drawn through the inlet grill in the top cover of the heater by the fan, blown over
heating elements, and then blown out through the front grille into the room.
The heater can be controlled by a directly installed wall switch or the pull-cord switch.
The heat output is regulated by an automatic, pre-set step-down thermostat which will
reduce the output from 2000 Watts to 1000-1200 Watts when a comfortable room
temperature (of between approximately 28 to 34 degrees C is reached
The blue LED indicator lights when the heater is operating.
Care
The heater requires regular cleaning (every 6 months) to ensure trouble free operation.
Isolate the heater from the mains power supply.
Use a damp cloth to clean the exterior of the heater. Do not use any abrasive cleaners.
The S207T is fitted with our “
Airslip
” metal fan blade that alleviates any dust build up
inside the heater.
Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and fluff visible on the heater inlet and outlet
grilles. First making sure that the heater is turned OFF.
