The instrument now acquires a sample average while displaying a progress bar.
Finally, the instrument computes the size distribution from the averaged data. This step takes
about 45 seconds. During this time, you can rinse and drain the mixing chamber in preparation
for the next sample. When the processing is complete the results will be displayed to the screen.
If the transmission is below 5% the warning message to the left will appear, and the size
distribution will not be computed from the measurement, nor will any data be saved to the file.
If this message appears you must dilute your sample prior to measuring it again.
Push the
button in order to return to Step 1.
The results displays in one of four screens. The SOP includes a setting for the screen to be
shown first. To view the other screens press the tab at the top of the screen. Tap Return to go to
the Step 1 screen in order to measure the next sample.
