2.3. vMax View and the Hard Drive Interface
The Harddrive Interface is provided with vMax View software to accommodate the
MX-HD hard drives. The hard drive interface uses two USB connectors to work with
power from the PC.
To access video from the hard drive using vMax View:
1. Remove the hard drive from the DVR.
2. Connect to the USB ports on a PC or laptop with vMax View installed, as shown
in Figure 2-1.
3. Open the vMax View software to search, playback, and archive DVR hard drive
contents.
vMax View sees the information read from the DVR hard drive.
