Step 10 Install 2x4 Tie Plates
1.
Cut a 2x4-12' in half and install a 6' long 2x4 flush with the 2x4 top plate on the front wall
panel. Use 10d coated sinker nails, double row, spaced 18" apart. Install a 2x4-12' board
next, and then install the other 6' long 2x4 flush with the right corner. Repeat to install 2x4s
across the top of the back wall.
2.
Cut a 12' long 2x4 to 137". Install on the end wall. Repeat on the opposite end wall.
