OFF
ON
Link-400 detected an error.
When the Link-400 is connected to a USB port, the green LED will
briefly turn off every two seconds. This is to indicate to the user that
the device is able to communicate using the SmartLink software. Also,
it serves as a reminder that the NiMH pack will take longer to reach
a full charge. If the user disconnects the Link-400 and immediately
connects it to the external 5V wall adapter, the green LED might still
blink. This means the charge time will still be long due to the reduced
charge current. If this happens, disconnect power from the Link-400
and wait for at least 30 seconds before plugging it back in to the
external 5V supply. Once the green LED stays on (no brief blinks), the
P400 can be charged at its fastest rate.
The trickle charging status is shown for packs that are charging
outside of the recommended temperature range. Therefore, this status
is not frequently indicated. Once the pack temperature returns to an
acceptable level, fast charging will begin. All rechargeable packs are
also trickle charged after being fully charged – as indicated by both
green and red LEDs illuminated.
The error status is indicated when the Link-400 has insufficient power
to operate. If you experience this issue when using the external 5V
wall supply, power cycle the Link-400 and retry. If the problem persists,
verify the wall supply is properly rated at 5V and capable of providing
at least 1000mA of current. For further assistance, please contact Sensit
Technologies.
