2 to 3 times.
Note:
To boil water in the fast boil kettle proceed according to the instructions in chapter Using the fast boil kettle.
3. Now the kettle is ready for operation.
USING THE FAST BOIL KETTLE
1. Set the desired power cord length and push it into the groove in the base
A4
. Place the base
A4
on a stable, even and clean surface.
2. Fill the kettle with the required amount of water. You may fill it through the spout
A3
or through the opening after lifting the lid
A1
. The water
level must reach at least the minimum mark (0.8l) but must not exceed the maximum mark (2.5l). After filling the kettle, check that the lid
A1
is properly closed and locked in place.
Attention:
Do not fill the kettle when it is placed on the base
A4
.
3. Place the kettle on the base
A4
. Insert the power plug into a power socket and set the switch
A7
to position I (On) to start the kettle.
The power indicator light will be lit.
Attention:
Do not turn on the kettle when it is empty. The incorrect use of the kettle may negatively affect its lifetime. If you accidentally turn on
the kettle without water, the thermostat will, after reaching a certain temperature, interrupt the electric circuit. The switch
A7
will move
to position 0 (Off) and the indicator light will turn off. The kettle can be used again after several minutes, once the heating bottom has
cooled down.
4. As soon as the water boils, the kettle will turn off automatically and the power indicator light will turn off.
Note:
The operation of the kettle can be interrupted at any time by setting the switch
A7
to position 0 (Off).
5. Pour the boiled water into a prepared container, cup or mug. Make sure that the kettle remains in a vertical position when it is carried,
particularly if it is filled all the way up to the maximum mark.
6. If you wish to refill the kettle, be especially careful when opening the lid
A1
to avoid scalding by the escaping steam.
7. After you finish using it, disconnect the power cord from the power socket. Empty the kettle and allow it to cool down.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
■
Before cleaning it, make sure that the kettle is turned off, disconnected from the power socket, and allow it to cool down.
■
To clean the external parts of the kettle, use a dry cloth or a cloth dipped in a weak solution of neutral kitchen detergent. After applying the
kitchen detergent, wipe the surface with a lightly damp cloth and then wipe dry.
■
To clean the base
A4
use only a dry cloth.
■
Never use solvents, abrasive cleaning agents, etc.
Cleaning the filters
■
The removable filter serves to capture limescale, and thereby prevents it from being poured into a cup together with the water. Regularly clean
the filter under running water using a fine nylon brush or submerge it for several hours into a vinegar – water solution (recommended dilution
ratio 1:2). After applying the solution, rinse the filter under clean running water.
