OPERATING INSTRUCTION
DC (battery) Operation
Insert 2 x AAA cells (not included) into battery compartment and then close
the compartment door.
Note:
Check your batteries regularly. Old or discharged batteries should be
replaced. If the unit is not to be used for some time, remove batteries from the
battery compartment to avoid leakage.
Radio
1.
Select FM or AM wave band by switching RADIO BAND SELECTOR .
2. Adjust the sound level with using VOLUME .
3. Tune to a radio station with using TUNING .
To improve reception:
- For FM, pull out the telescopic aerial.
- For AM, the set is provided with a built-in aerial, so there is no need to use
the telescopic aerial. Turn the set to fi nd the best position.
Volume
Adjust the volume level with using VOLUME.
You may connect headphones (not included) to 3.5mm HEADPHONE JACK .
The loudspeaker is then muted.
Avoid listening to headphones at high volume levels to prevent possible
hearing damage.
