In the event that the power cord is damaged, have it repaired at a professional
service centre to prevent causing a dangerous situation. It is forbidden to
use the appliance if it has a damaged power cord.
■
Use the appliance according to the instructions in the user's manual.
Otherwise, injuries, damage to the appliance or a dangerous situation
may result.
■
The appliance is intended exclusively for brewing filtered coffee. Use the
appliance only for the purposes for which it was designed.
■
Before connecting the appliance to a power socket, check that the rated
voltage on its rating label matches the electrical voltage in the power socket.
■
Connect the appliance only to a properly grounded socket. For safety
reasons, we do not recommend using multi-socket adapters or extension
cords.
■
Do not place the appliance on window sills, kitchen sink drainboards or
unstable surfaces. Always place it on a stable, even and dry surface.
■
Do not place the appliance on or near an electrical or gas stove, or in the
vicinity of an open flame.
■
Never use the appliance in the near vicinity of a bath, shower or swimming
pool.
■
Only use the appliance with the original accessories that came with it.
■
The appliance must not be used without the filter holder and the coffee
filter. Never pour coffee or coffee beans directly into the filter holder.
■
Hot steam is released from the vents during operation. For this reason,
provide the appliance with at least 20 cm of clearance space.
■
Fill the water tank with clean cold water. Do not pour hot water or other
liquids into it or place any items inside it. The maximum capacity of the
water tank is 0.3 litres. Do not overfill the water tank.
■
Before turning on the appliance, make sure that the water tank is filled with
a sufficient amount of water, that the lid of the appliance is properly closed
and that the kettle is placed on the hotplate. The water level in the water
tank must not exceed the maximum mark.
Warning:
Do not open the lid of the water tank during the coffee brewing process.
