TROUBLESHOOTING
The following table is a troubleshooting guide. If you are unable to remedy the problem with the help
of the following table, please contact a service centre.
Problem Analysis of the problem
The air conditioner is not working. • Has a power outage occurred?
• Has the power plug fallen out of the power
socket?
• Has the circuit breaker been turned off or has
a fuse burned out?
• Are there any obstacles or equipment
blocking the signal transmitted by the remote
control?
The remote control is not working and no
information is shown on the display. • Check that the batteries are not fl at.
• Check that the batteries are inserted
correctly.
The air conditioner will not start immediately
after the I/O button on the remote control is
pressed. • This is a form of protection of the air
conditioner.
It is necessary to wait for about 3 minutes.
At the end operation the fan does not stop
completely. • Turn the air conditioner on and then off
again.
The cooling or heating (only for models with
a heat pump) performance is insuffi cient. • Have you set the correct temperature?
• Are the fi lters clean?
• Are the air inlet and outlets on the indoor
and outdoor unit blocked?
• Are you using the SLEEP mode during the
day?
• Is the fan in the indoor unit set to a slow
speed mode?
• Have you closed doors and windows?
Hot air will not start fl owing out of the air
conditioner immediately after the HEAT mode is
set (only for models with a heat pump). • Please wait a few minutes.
A power outage occurred. After power is
renewed the air conditioner is automatically set
to the same mode in which it was before the
power outage occurred. • This is a so-called automatic restart function.
