6.6 SELECTING THE PRINTOUT FORMAT

It is possible to select different formats of printed output to suit different type
of items being tested.

For DWI cans where readings are taken on the sidewall at the top, middle
and bottom in three or four positions around the can, vertical headings can
be selected which will result in the three printout columns being headed
"TOP MIDDLE BOTTOM".  The number of rows are selected to correspond
with the number of places round the can that readings are taken.  This will
result in the readings for each can being neatly separated on the printout.

For flat sheet measurements horizontal headings can be selected causing
the three columns to be headed "LEFT CENTRE RIGHT".  Again, the
number of rows are selected to correspond with the number of positions on
the plate that readings are taken.

Vertical Headings ("TOP MIDDLE BOTTOM") are selected by internal switch
1:4 being open and horizontal headings ("LEFT CENTRE RIGHT") are
selected by switch 1:4 being closed.  See appendix 1 for information an
accessing and locating the internal switches.

The number of rows printed in each separate block are selected by internal
switches 1:5 and 1:6 as per the table below;
