1.7 Switch the clamp distance SHORT / LONG
Press a toggle switch.
y Distance SHORT: the indicator of the switchover switch is off.
y Distance LONG: the indicator of the changeover switch is on.
1.8 Triggering
Press a trigger, and the adjusted clamp distance is fixed.
If the device is moved too fast, no releases and the ring
lights of the Shift button flashes quickly.
y Caution: Never move the tool over the work piece in the
open position
1.9 Adjusting the telescopic arm
y Loosen the telescopic arm
y Adjust the telescopic arm to the desired length.
y Tighten the sleeve adjuster on the telescopic arm.
1.10 Setting the drive depth
y Loosen the four screws KDN0917
y Loosen the locknut the adjusting screw
y Adjust the drive depth of the adjusting screw. Rotate it
out downward.
y Pull the locknut and The four screws KDN0917 firmly.

1.11 Setting correct spacing
Guidance for setting fixed Distances along the edge of

y Loosen the locking lever
y Pull the side stop in the preferred distance (scale)
y The stop will result in a continues distance in relation to
the desired distance. For distances of 90-140mm can
change the guide over 50mm by screwing into 2 tapped
holes (scale +50)
y Set the guide roller with the handle downwards.

Expansion:
y Disconnect the unit from the compressed air supply!
y Adjust the telescopic arm vertically.
y Pull both air hoses off the hose nipples
y Rotate the driver by lifting the head
y Press the locking pin down with a suitable tool
y Pull the drive unit out of the holder
Mounting:
y Press the locking pin down with a suitable tool
y Place the drive unit with the mounting bolt in the holder
y Place both air hoses on the hose nipple
WORK WITH GUIDE RAILS

2.1 The roadmap is for working with standard
designed guide rails.
y Set up the pathology the guide rail, so that a score of the
rail guides over the guide bar.
y When using a Festool rail use the wide notches, with a
Maffel rail the narrow notches.
y To change over, turn the screws KDN0706, turn the rail
guide around, re-tighten the screws.
