Lightning Protector
Radio transmitters, receivers and RF cables require protection when attracted by
lightning strike.
The surge protectors contain fast response gas filled arrestors to provide low let
through voltage for fast rise time transients. The device is configured to minimize
circuit capacitance and the performance can be assured up to 2GHz. Standard models
provide protection for receivers and transmitters up to a 1KW power level.
Installing this device in outdoor may be subject to lightning strikes. To properly
protect your equipment, you should install the lightning arrestor to prevent an
electrical surge from traveling through the antenna cable and into the building.
Lightning protection for a building is more forgiving than protection of electrical
