Assembling the power trim and tilt 
motor

1.

Install a new oil seal 

1

 and the bushing

2

 into the motor base 

3

 as shown.

2.

Attach the circuit breaker 

4

 onto the

brush 

5

 together with the brush holder

6

 and connect the wire lead 

7

.

3.

Install the springs 

8

 into the motor base,

then the brush holder into the motor base
together with the brushes and circuit
breaker.

4.

Push the brushes into the brush holder,
and then install the armature.

5.

Install the stator onto the base.

NOTE:
Place a clean cloth over the end of the arma-
ture shaft, hold it with a pair of pliers, and
then carefully slide the stator over the arma-
ture.
