Insert the suction hose into the engine. This is normally done via the dipstick or oil
refill cap. The outside diameter of the suction hose is 6mm. When inserting suction
hose into the engine do not use any force.

The outlet hose should feed to a tank or container for waste oil.

The alligator clips on the power lead are then connected to a 12V batter. Red to
positive and black to negative. There is an on/off switch on the back of pump.

For best results change the oil on the engine while the engine is still warm. This helps
to remove all the contaminents and warm oil will flow faster and more easily
through the oil change pump.
