Mounting the Print Server
The print server is a so-called slot card that is simply inserted into the provided slot.
Prepare the printer
Proceed as follows:
1. Turn the printer off.
2. Disconnect the printer's power cord.
3. Remove the screws from the interface cover.
4. Remove the metal cover.
Insert the print server
Proceed as follows:
1. Insert the print server board into the slot until the board locks
into the receptacle.
2. Fasten the print server board screws.
Connect the print server
Proceed as follows:
1. Connect the network cable (RJ-45) to the print server.
2. Connect the printer's power cord to the printer.
3. Turn the printer on.
4. Press the status button of the print server in order to print out
a status page.
