unplugged.

Establish

serviceable

power

base

(

assembly

cover

To install chassis cover:

Make sure motor and BSA harnesses are seated

in notches in chassis and cable router so that

they cannot be pinched when cover is installed.

Make

sure

Segway

powered

off

and

unplugged.

ensure

proper

installation

torque

new

fasteners,

completely

remove

thread

lock

compound

from

power

base

fastener

holes

and

mating

surfaces

and

clean

that

gasket

contacts

aluminum.

Use

cotton

swabs,

first

with

window

cleaner,

then

with

isopropyl

alcohol.

Orient

cover

that

openings

for

harnesses

are

toward

rear

and

warning

label

right

‐

hand

side.
