After registering the domain name, please enter the information supplied by the
administrator to the DVR DDNS Account Setting on the appropriate DDNS client.
I. If your DVR is installed on the WAN and connected directly to a modem( not behind
a router), you will need to configure the DDNS client on your DVR as follows:
1. Enter the user name for the DDNS account that you created.
2. Enter the password for the DDNS account that you created.
3. Enter the domain name you chose for the DVR.
4. Select “Enable” button to start-up DDNS client, and press “Submit” button to
save the setting.

5. Exit the DDNS setup menu and enter the Network setup menu.
6. Next to the DNS heading, you should see DNS0, DNS1 and DNS2.
This is where you enter the IP address of the DDNS server with whom you have an
account. DNS0 is the primary address, this is where you will enter the IP address of
your DDNS server. DNS1, and DNS2 are optional address fields for secondary
DDNS servers if desired.
