CAR
MODE
Car
mode
enables
the
camera
to
auto
start
recording
when
power
is
received
through
the
docking
station
–
ideal
when
the
camera
is
mounted
as
an
in
vehicle
recorder.
This
feature
can
be
turned
off
during
normal
use.

LOOP
RECORD
Loop
recording
is
only
available
in
CarDV
mode
and
it
works
on
a
first
on
first
off
basis.
If
enabled
and
once
the
camera’s
memory
is
full,
the
camera
will
write
over
the
oldest
files
first
in
an
endless
loop.
When
disabled
and
the
camera
memory
is
full
the
camera
with
turn
off,
saving
all
data.

SLIDESHOW
This
setting
enables
or
disables
the
slideshow
playback
feature.
The
Slideshow
can
be
disabled
by
setting
it
to
'OFF'.
When
the
Slideshow
feature
is
enabled,
your
images
will
be
displayed
in
slideshow
format
approximately
every
five
seconds
on
the
LCD
screen.

INFRARED
This
setting
allows
the
infrared
LEDs
to
be
switched
on
or
off
manually
or
automatically.
When
Manual
mode
is
selected,
the
infrared
LEDs
can
be
switched
on
or
off
using
the
'Light'
button
on
top
of
the
device.
When
Auto
mode
is
selected,
the
infrared
LEDs
will
switch
on
or
off
automatically
depending
on
the
amount
of
ambient
light
available.

RECORD
WARNING
This
setting
enables
or
disables
the
Record
Warning
Feature.
The
Record
Warning
can
be
disabled
by
selecting
'OFF'.
When
the
Record
Warning
is
enabled,
a
recorded
voice
alert
‐
'recording
started'
can
be
heard
when
the
video
button
is
pressed
and
the
video
recording
has
commenced.
Note:
the
Volume
Setting
(19/24)
must
be
enabled
to
hear
this
alert.
