OPENING AND CLOSING

HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS

Radio-frequency rremote ccontrol k

key*

The  following  functions can  be  operated
using the radio wave remote control with-
out using the key manually. 
– Locking and unlocking the central lock-

ing system.

– Connecting and disconnecting the anti-

theft alarm system*.

– Switch  on  interior  light (see  "Interior

lights" chapter)

The radio wave transmitter with its battery
is located  in  the  handle  of the  key.  The
radio  wave  receiver  is located  inside  the
vehicle.

The  effective  rrange (red  area)  of the
remote  control is shown  in  the  illustra-
tion. The maximum range depends on var-
ious conditions.
The range will reduce as the batteries lose
power.

Note

•

The  remote  control becomes inopera-

tive when the key is in the ignition.
